Description

Caller ID - Deluxe service allows the subscriber to view the calling party's name, telephone number, date and time on a customer provided (CPE) display unit before the call is answered. The calling information is delivered between the first and second ringing cycle of the call.

Interactions

  • Call Block
    Calling information will not be displayed if a caller is on the Call Block screen list.

  • Call Forwarding Busy Line
    Call information will not be displayed at the Call Forwarding Busy Line (CFBL) customer's display unit if the call is forwarded because of a busy condition. However, if the remote station (number where calls are forwarded) has Caller ID - Deluxe, the originator's (party who is calling) call information will be displayed on that unit.

  • Call Forwarding Don't Answer
    Calling information will be displayed on the Call Forwarding Don't Answer (CFDA) customer's display unit, whether or not the incoming call was forwarded. If the remote location (number where calls are forwarded) also has Caller ID - Deluxe, the originator's (party who is calling) call information will be displayed on that unit as well.

  • Call Forwarding/Preferred Call Forwarding
    If a customer with Caller ID - Deluxe forwards their calls to a remote location, the Caller ID - Deluxe customer will not receive calling information on their display unit. However, if the remote location (where calls are forwarded to) has Caller ID - Deluxe, the originator's (party who is calling) call information will be displayed on that unit.

  • User Transfer
    The party's name who originates the User Transfer will be displayed.

  • Call Waiting
    Caller ID - Deluxe will not function simultaneously with the Call Waiting because the telephone receiver must be on-hook to receive calling information. However, both features can be provided on the same line.

  • Call Number Delivery Blocking-CNDB (permanent)
    Call information will not be displayed from a caller who has activated CNDB-Permanent (Per Line Blocking).

  • Party Line
    Caller ID - Deluxe will not display calling name information from a multi-party line.

  • Remote Call Forwarding
    If the remote station of an RCF customer has Caller ID - Deluxe, the originator's calling information will be displayed, not the RCF calling information.

  • RingMaster®
    The name transmitted will always be the main listed directory name rather than the RingMaster listed name if the incoming call is from a RingMaster customer.

    If a customer has both Caller ID and RingMaster calls to both the Primary Number and the dependent numbers will be displayed on the Caller ID CPE.
