From time to time you may receive emails that appear to be from a SouthEast Telephone account, asking you to reply and provide certain account information to the sender.  "These e-mails are a phishing scam.  Phishing is an attempt to acquire your sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication." SouthEast Telephone will never request that you provide account information to us by email reply.  In order to protect your identity and privacy, we will contact you directly for any account information needs we may have. 
 
Do not respond to these emails, or click on any embedded links associated with such e-mails, as they may contain viruses or malware.
