Webmail FAQ
- How much space do I get with your webmail service?
10 mb for Dial-Up and DSL Lite and 25 mb for DSL 1.5 and 3.0. This space includes all items in your Trash, Sent, and Inbox folders.
- Why doesn't the Notify Pop-up feature "pop-up" for me?
Some browser add-ons, such as the Google Toolbar and "pop-up blockers" will prevent certain Webmail features from working correctly if they are set to stop pop-ups for the Webmail site. However, most of these add-ons will let you allow pop-ups for sites that you choose. To solve this issue, simply allow pop-ups for the Webmail site.
- Why do my e-mails bounce back?
First, check to see if the recepient's e-mail address is a valid address and is spelled correctly.
If you receive a returned e-mail, be sure not to delete this email. Forward it to support@setel.com, asking if we can determine the reason for the returned message.
- How do I forward all incoming messages to my pager or another e-mail address?
Our Forwarding tool allows you to forward messages to another e-mail address or a SouthEast Telephone alphanumeric pager number based on criteria you specify for the sender or the subject of the message. If you want to send all incoming messages to a pager or alternate e-mail address, you can simply create either a Sender Address or Subject Line filter rule with the matching pattern (sender or subject) blank. This will return a match on everything, and will thus forward all e-mail.
- How do I stop junk mail and spam from filling up my Inbox?
If you are receiving spam or an increase in spam, you may want to check out our spam tool. It is free to customers and can be found at www.setel.com.
From there, login at the top of the page with your complete e-mail address and password.
Then click on "Tools" and then "Spam Filter"
Next you can adjust your spam filter as you see fit, however you may not want to set it to max and delete, as that may cause you to miss legitimate e-mails.
