Paging FAQ

• How much is your paging service?
  Monthly pricing starts at $8.95 for numeric and $10.95 for alphanumeric pager service, with a $10.00 setup fee. Visit our Paging section for more information on our paging services.
  
  
• How old do I have to be to buy a pager?
  You must be 18 years of age to purchase a pager from SouthEast Telephone.
  
  
• Why am I not receiving pages?
  It could be due to a number of things. First, test the pager to make sure that the batteries are not dead and that everything is configured correctly. You may also be in a "dead area" where coverage is sparse or nonexistent. Also, homes and other buildings with tin roofs may hinder the delivery of pages.
  
  
• Do I have to sign a contract?
  No.
  
  
• Why would I need insurance?
  Insurance covers selected repairs to your pager that may otherwise require you to purchase a new pager.
  
  
• What does insurance cover?
  It covers most repairs except those due to abuse or water damage.
  
  
• How quickly will it be activated?
  Your paging account will typically be activated the same day, but may require up to 24 hours.
